Her research focuses on firms’ strategic choices in the tax planning context. In one of her recent projects, she, for instance, examines how German DAX and MDAX firms manage their tax risk exposure. Within her work, she likes to employ different research methods, covering both qualitative and quantitative research designs.
Alissa Brühne holds a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Munich (LMU). Before her Ph.D., she studied business administration with a focus on accounting and finance at the University of Munich (LMU) and at Singapore Management University. She also acquired national and international working experience in the fields of taxation and financial auditing.
